There is quite a bit of room for a short bed truck camper. The slide opens up the floor plan quite a bit. The bed is a "north/south" configuration. That way you don't have to climb over each other to get up and go to the bathroom at night. We did order the winter package on this camper. I believe it is a great asset for those of us that hunt, fish, or just simply continue camping all season long. It is safe to say that you would not have any trouble freezing during most of deer season or during a winter fishing trip to the outer banks. It also has the 9.2 btu ac unit.
