For sale: immaculate 32ft 2008 Fleetwood Southwind 2slides garage kept class a - gas / wolfforth, tx up for your consideration is very clean and well maintained 2008 Fleetwood Southwind 32v. Fleetwood was first born back in the 1950s as travel trailer manufacture and sales expanded into manufactured housing and eventually motorized rvs. In fact this year will make 60 years since the Fleetwood trailer company name was founded. Since 2005 Fleetwood has focused on the recreational vehicle business and steered away from manufactured homes. Since that time customer service has drastically improved and the build quality has also improved. For those that watched my items over the years know that most units i sell are diesel powered with the exception of class b coaches. A few months ago i drove a gas coach that was equipped very similar to this Southwind from dallas to lubbock. It is a very easy 350 mile drive with minimal traffic and good interstate and highway. I pulled a bumper pull travel trailer and was very impressed with its power and ease of handling. The only other experience i have had in a gas motorhome was as a kid and can remember it handling more like a boat in the ocean and less like a vehicle on the highway. I learned a few thing about gas coaches. First you want a good chassis, the later models seem to handle much better. Secondly, the 22.5in tire and wheel combination yields a much better ride and because they are much heavier duty, it is much safer. Lastly, stay under 36ft, i think the shorter the better as long as the coach will accommodate all you are looking for in a coach. This 32ft coach has a lot of equipment, yet very easy to drive at 32ft. I can tell you that many rv parks along the coast will not allow anything over 36ft. This coach is a 2 owner and originally belonged to a gentleman just outside of ft worth, texas. He purchased the rv new in august of 2008 for $135,360.00. I sold the coach to a local couple about a year that wanted to try their hand at rving, they took a few trips to see kids and grandkids and in the end, just didn't use the coach as much as they had planned. Both previous owners stored it under cover when not in use and the paint shows it, there is no water damage, no delamination, no weather checking or sunfade, and no previous damage. We have the original owners manuals, front bra, window sun screens, and all keys. The interior is smoke free, pet free, and funky smell free. Everything functions as it should and other than very minor wear and tear, is very clean and near new. I can tell you that second owner did spend quite a bit of money on the coach to make it their own. First, the mattress was replaced as they were clean freaks like me. Second, they replaced the tvs with new hd versions. Then to keep up with newer hd technology, they replaced the satellite receiver with a new winngard high definition capabilities. It will now operate on direct tv or dish network. Last, they did tow a jeep behind the motorhome and they have left the blue ox towbar for its new owner. If you are looking for a gas coach, you owe it to yourself to take a look at this unit. It has the upgraded 22.5 alcoa aluminum wheels wrapped in michelin tires, 17ft powering awning w/ wind sensor and remote, and 4 door fridge ( a very are find in a gas coach) . The paint job comes from the same paint booth that the american coaches pass through, the quality rivals that of a american eagle. Additionally the windows are doubled panned insulated glass. There are 2 roof top a/c units which will keep this coach cool even in 110 degree heat. All tvs are newer samsung led flatscreens. Powering the coach is a onan 5500 generator which provide power for each a/c unit and allows for amble power for appliances. It does have the soft touch ceiling, ducted ac, solid surface counter tops, and much more. The coach does have a slide in the living that house a dinette and sleeper sofa, and a slide in the bedroom that houses the queen sized bed. Below i will highlight some specs.
