| For sale: better than new, total reconditioned travel trailers / escondido, ca the camper was completely rebuilt it from the ground up with the best materials and accessories. It weighs less that 1500 pounds and is very easy to pull. The exterior was completely repainted with single stage automotive paint and then buffed the inner liner to look like new. All of the windows were removed and the frames were painted with black satin paint and reinstalled with new sealant. The seat/bed cushions and upholstery were removed inside and replaced the cushions with automotive grade foam. Everything was then upholstered with the classic "route 66" fabric that was bought at the famous hackberry general store on route 66 here in arizona. In addition there are two accent pillows and there is also a 14" wide strip of the same fabric on the ceiling from front rear. Inside the windows have removable reflective covers that are covered with the same fabric. Everything was professionally done by an automotive trim shop and it turned out great, way better than the original interior. Also installed was a fan-tastic 12v powered reversible 3 speed ceiling fan/vent in the ceiling. All of the particle board compartment covers were replaced with 5 ply maple plywood coated with urethane clear. All of the particle board cabinet doors were replaced with custom made knotty hickory cabinet doors and face frames made by a custom cabinet shop and finished with urethane clear. The countertop and table top were also custom made with maple butcherblock formica laminate. A custom made hickory framed mirror was also made and installed with "route 66" medallions from each state and coca cola accents to hang your keys on. New light brown plush padded carpet was installed and is removable if necessary for cleaning. A stainless steel sink in the countertop has a manual pump faucet supplied by a fresh water tank in the rear compartment. The sink drains underneath the camper. A dorm size 115v refrigerator was installed in the kitchen cabinet. Installed is small 115v air conditioner in the front compartment that has a 115v fan that expels the hot air from the unit out from under the camper. In addition, a small electrical breaker box in the front compartment was installed that supplies the 115v appliances and outlets. A 115v cord can then be extended from inside the camper to your campsite hook up or auxiliary generator with a new 12 v battery in place. In between the two front compartments is a porta potti portable toilet that is included so you don't have to run to the campground bathroom in the middle of the night. |
