For sale: largely restored 1983 Winnebago Warrior handy person special class c / branford, ct 1983 Winnebago Warrior i'm the 3rd owner. The first bought it and drove it all over the country then stored it in a barn. The second did some upgrades and drove it to campgrounds in new england. I've done a lot of work on the unit. Virtually everything under the hood is new: jasper engine- still under warranty until 5/24 and very low miles on it, holly carburetor, fan, brake master cylinder, etc. Two deep cycle 12 volt coach batteries wired in parallel, new engine battery, michelin tires(maybe 1,000 miles or so on them), added thermostat fantastic fan vent to overcab and an exterior cover so it can be left open while driving, overcab area has been repaired from water damage and now has reflectix insulation,12 volt outlet inside added for coach batteries, modified sine wave power inverter 2300 watt/ 4600 watt peak and remote, new plumbing and tanks, roof damage from previous water damage repaired and roof cleaned and coated and the rest of the large can comes with the rv if you wanted to have some on hand. Previous owner added new toilet and new 6 gallon hot water heater plus a new floor in place of carpet. Over $10,000 worth of work done since i've owned it. 65,900 miles with less than 2,000 on the new engine and tires and gets roughly 15-17 miles per gallon. Easy to drive and park. Couch and dinette open for beds, overcab bed folds or stays open. It is generator ready but does not have a generator. The compartment works for more outside storage. 4 burner stove, oven, nice size 3 way fridge and freezer, double sink in galley. Plus lots of storage throughout the rv including a closet in the back. Low watts microwave i never used is stored in closet. New bathroom flooring and added a floorboard polyurethaned underneath with vinyl tiling on top. (it had been the original shag carpet!) small sink, toilet, two storage areas, towel rack, and separate shower in the bathroom. Good water pressure and heats up nicely. Fan vent in bathroom. New back up camera. This vehicle is 22'1" on a van chassis. There is a cd/mp3 radio and a continental tire kit on the back. Also comes with the manual. The front cab is prepped and primed for a new carpet. There is no dashboard ac but a rooftop air and fans. The unit is furnace ready with new ducting. If you don't need/want a furnace, there is more storage space by leaving it out. The couch and cushions are the originals and have been cleaned and have new covers on them. A few light fixtures work but could be replaced as they're the original. Some light fixtures have been removed and can either be left off or need to be replaced. Some led lights have been added as well. There is a 12v fan that needs a new switch or can be removed. It's a vintage unit. It is mechanically well restored and a handy person could easily finish the cosmetic things up like painting, etc. It's registered in ct, where it does not need to have emissions testing and it was easy to register. The dmv didn't even see it. Sold as is. I'd reduced the price because it has been incredibly cold and the house batteries froze. They may be fine or may need to be replaced and so i've lowered the price due to this. They do charge while the engine is running and the 12v system runs the lights, fans. Just needs a longer drive than i've given it. I've further reduced the price for a fast sale. Serious inquiries only, please. This is still in need of some restoration. Would be great for a handy person to finish up and customize however desired. I was fixing it up for fulltime use. Also great for tailgating, weekend trips/short travel, camping, and during power outages. This rv could be used for years to come. Please contact me via email if you're interested and have any questions. I have several more pictures and am happy to take some of anything specific you'd like to see. Thank you!
