This shell was converted in 2007 by reeves custom coach to requested specifications. It is a rare find in 40 foot bus conversion since it has 6 full size bunks, in addition to the queen suite. Excellent use of space. It was repowered with a remanufactured detroit diesel 8v71 in 2009 (approx. 7500 miles); and a remanufactured allison 740d transmission with the same mileage and a new drive axle. The diesel mechanic that performed the last service informed us that the engine is a military version of the detroit diesel and is designed to be able to sit unused for 30 years without being started. The interior of this coach has been nicely done with a sofa and dinette; galley kitchen with a 21 cu ft refrigerator, microwave and this coach has a stacked washer dryer installed. The generator is a 17.5 kw kubota; it has 3 roof air conditioners, a hydro hot water system which provides heat and continuous hot water. No expense was spared in doing this bus conversion, as you can see from the photos. The exterior was updated by raising the roof 8 inches and adding updated front and rear caps to the original stainless steel/aluminium frame/body structure. All windows and windshield have been replaced to give a clear view. Exterior is also equipped with a 22ft manual release awning and a tow hitch. Rear bay is completely empty for storage. Middle bay houses tanks of 100 gal grey water, 100 gal black and 100 gal fresh water. Front bay is half used for the generator/power. Cooling is provided by 3 roof mounted carrier air v recreational vehicle air conditioners. Other amenities include: full driver instrument panel, matching driver and co-pilot seat, electric powered full driver/passenger seats, powered sun/privacy visor, 21 cubic foot admiral refrigerator with ice maker, large standard home kitchen sink, 4 burner frigidaire cook top, ac/dc lighting throughout the coach, 4 sliding pocket doors, ge spacemaker electric washer/ dryer, half size shower/bath tub closet, 6 adult size bunks that are currently used for closet and storage but can be made bunks by putting back the mattresses back in, master bedroom is furnished with a queen size bed. In 2014, over $11,000 in documented mechanical updates and servicing was professionally completed. Work included; extensive updating and overhaul of the air-ride system, cylinder head work, new engine air filtration system, replacement of engine cooling fans and much more. Professional appraisal completed in april 2014 for over $88,000. A death in the family forces the sale of this truly rare and unique motor coach . . Private seller asking $75,000
