| For sale: titan12 bus conversions / manassas, va own your own piece of history! This 1969 gmc bus was originally in use between atlantic city and cape may it has been converted into a motor home. Gmc buffalo bus that is 40' long and interior of motor home is ready to be finished and therefore the sale is 'as-is'. The bus was converted to an rv in the early 80's and the remodeling project is nearly complete to bring it up to this decade with full size residential tub, induction cooktop, etc. Kitchen has narrow residential fridge/freezer. 8' birch butcher-block counter top with inset ikea stainless steel double sink w/ built in drain board. Counter top sits on residential kitchen cabinets from home depot. Kitchen has quiet electric 450watt heater by e-heat. Living room area has electric heater/fireplace. Fold down futon style couch. Dual zoned air conditioning system includes two residential air conditioners from home depot set in under carriage and ducted to bedroom/bathroom and kitchen/living room. Engine is a 1969 detroit diesel 8v71 with electric switch to shift the v drive allison transmission. Engine runs great! Has 2 12v car batteries in series to produce 24v for bus engine. Engine produces 28v to charge batteries and run bus systems/lights. Kubuta diesel generator installed, capable of producing 220 volts. Engine and generator run off 140 gallon diesel fuel tank. Has 2 additional 12v car batteries to run the new led house lights. Includes a large power inverter to convert 12vdc to 110 (may require running separate wiring to desired appliances for use on inverter power.) new floor decking installed and is ready for final flooring. Additional insulation was added to ceiling and walls. Almost all the windows recently removed, resealed and/replaced by professional auto glass repair company. New sliding windows added to rear sides of bus, to replace white panels visible in picture. |
